2009 Reintegration Seminar

The 2009 Reintegration Seminar was held at the Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) Jakarta on 2 November 2009.

The Seminar is part of the ADS Program’s alumni professional development series and this year was closely followed by alumni professional development activities in Aceh (5 November) and Yogyakarta (9 November). The seminar was opened by Ibu Rika Kiswardani (Head, Division of Bilateral Technical Cooperation - SETNEG), Bp Reza Irwansyah (Program Manager, Scholarship - AusAID) and Michael Bracher (ADS Program Manager - IDP).

45 recently returned alumni participated in the “Leadership for Change” seminar from Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (BAPEPAM-LK), DG of Taxes (DJP), DG of Treasury (DJPB), Fiscal Policy Office (BKF), State Secretariat (SETNEG), National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS), Ministry of Trade (DEPDAG), and Ministry of Religious Affairs (DEPAG). The facilitator of the Seminar was Professor Geoffrey Gallop, Director Graduate School of Government, The University of Sydney.  Professor Gallop’s presentation focused on bureaucratic reform including scenario planning, change management and political awareness.
